Abdullah Qandeel was born in 1988 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Qandeel lives and works in New York creating passionate and energetic large scale abstract paintings which he has exhibited across the world in exhibitions in Monte Carlo, New York and Jeddah. A smaller abstract canvas, titled The Race, by Abdullah Qandeel sold at Sotheby’s, Doha for $274,000 against a $20,000-30,000 estimate in their Contemporary Art auction in April 2015.
