Hal wilson

Hal Wilson was born in London in 1967. He studied at Oxford Brookes University and held his first public exhibition two years after graduation at the Battersea Contemporary Art Fair in London in 1993. He has presented six major solo exhibitions in Europe; including Berlin, London and France - his commissioned sculpture “Running Man” being one of the main attractions at London’s 2012 Olympic park. He also exhibited in Los Angeles in 2016, showing his work for the first time to a new “A” list audience, his work has been exhibited alongside artists such as Chuck Close, Sam Falls, Warhol and Jasper Johns in major collections and prestigious addresses around the Los Angeles area. In his latest series of prints, he uses a radical mix of mediums to convey the subtle craft and explosive force required to create sculpture. Through digital, silk screen, metal leaf, concrete and paint he illustrates the fluid path towards creating static art.
