Lauren Baker is a British contemporary artist who has exhibited internationally. Her work predominately explores themes such as the fragility of life, dimensions, mindfulness, wellbeing and positivity. Primarily working with neon, Lauren uses this as a means to express positivity and mantras, because she feels that neon is a representation of the vibration of love and connectivity in the world. Lauren work is largely inspired by time spent in the Peruvian Amazon, the birthplace of her career in art. Lauren joined a mosaic street-art project in Brazil during her travels, beginning a basis for her skillset, she then went on on to develop her skills in Venice.
Lauren has previously created installations at many well known institutions such as The Victoria and Albert Museum, Tate Britain and Tate Modern.
