About Halliday Avray-Wilson
Halliday Avray-Wilson was born in London in 1967. Avray-Wilson opened his studio in France in 1994. He utilizes traditional sculpting methods and materials, such as bronze and brass and steel, together with innovative techniques to create a fascinating and unique body of work, his recent output is characterized by a fascination with explosives. Avray-Wilson’s ‘Running Man’ was on display at the Olympic Village in Stratford, London. In 2011 he was honoured ‘Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres’ by the French Ministry of Culture.
